Established in 1987, CATEC is a loyal standing member with the International Ozone Association, International Car Wash Association, Better Business Bureau, Sarasota/Manatee Manufacturers Association. 

Howard E. Taylor, The founder and CEO of CATEC is world renowned in his research and development skills. Howard holds several technical degrees, design patents and has extensive knowledge in the design and development of electronic controls, electro-mechanical design, water treatment, water recycling, and Ozone technologies. 

Some of Howard's benchmark designs include the Hand Controls for the Space Shuttle, Magnetic Levitation technologies for the military, Wireless Apnea/SIDS monitor, Computerized monitoring and control systems for large yachts, Exclusive Ozone and water treatment processes and applications, and many more. Howard and the CATEC team have designed and developed many cutting edge products that others were unable to achieve.  

Howard is also noted for his superb presentations to the Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Environmental Protection on Ozone. He attends many Ozone related conferences and is noted throughout the industry as one of the most knowledgeable in the field. 

Howard is an avid sailor and enjoys the Florida life-style, scuba-diving and motorcycles in his spare time.
