CATEC Ultrasonic Level and Distance (ULC) Control & Sensors UL508A Qualified
CATEC's exclusive Ultrasonic (ULC) control makes highly accurate depth and distance measurements accurate and easy. High and low level set-points with corresponding dry relay contacts allow for ease of system control. The Sensor Enclosures are made of tough ABS plastic and are waterproof. NOTE: These sensors are not limited to liquid level. They may be used for sensing and measuring the distance to any surface, vertical or horizontal. Simplicity and accuracy make this control attractive for many monitoring and control options. ________________________________________________________________________________ System Sensors: The system offers two sensor range options, 0.0 Feet to 9.5 Feet AND 0.0 Feet to 26.0 Feet, Accurate to 1/8 Inch.
CATEC Ultrasonic Distance Sensors and Level Control provides State-of-the-Art Ultrasonic technology for non-contact distance sensing and control. The sensors are small, light weight and may be mounted just about anywhere. The sensors emit high frequency sonic pulses and processes the reflected echo to convert the transit time into water level. The sensor signal is immune from foam and fog that can cause interference with some sensors. The Sensor Enclosures are made of tough ABS plastic and are waterproof and chemical resistant. _______________________________________________________________________________________ The Control and readout may be located as far as several hundred feet from the sensor, connected by a single multi-conductor cable. The readout of the control is bright LED digital display, which shows the distance in feet. The unit is accurate to 1/100 foot (1/8 inch). The unit contains two (2) programmable relays to allow front panel control of high and low set-points.
